Marquette County conservation District
A Community-Oriented Organization
As Marquette County’s Conservation District, we are a free resource for the community. Our organization offers involvement in programs, advising assistance, and grants to aid landowners in making decisions that serve their goals and the environment. The Marquette County Conservation District has staff with specialized skills that can be your resource for any conservation concern. Our staff is available to provide technical support to landowners and community members as requested, but we also complete several conservation projects throughout the county each year. Our goal is always to choose projects that benefit both the community and the environment!

Grant funding is an essential part of our operation at the Marquette County Conservation District. We receive grant opportunities based on work we’ve done in the past, or we apply to new opportunities ourselves. These grants allow our organization an amount of capital to entirely invest in a specific purpose for the betterment of the community. Below you can see some of the grants we’ve secured as a utility for the people of Marquette County.
