Christy has worked with Michigan Conservation Districts for over eight years and has been with MCCD for the last 3. She has a BS in Ecology from Northern Michigan University and has worked in natural resources for over a decade. She truly enjoys youth environmental education and loves the opportunity to talk to kids about conservation whether in a classroom, in the woods, watershed or any place-based setting! She has a myriad of other duties that include day-to-day office operations, social media and outreach, coordinating district events, fundraising and grant writing and preparing the MCCD Monthly newsletter.
