Description

Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) is a perennial plant that is the sole food source for Monarch Butterfly larvae, making this plant essential to the Monarch Butterfly. This plant is also favored by many other pollinator species as well. The white, pinkish-purple flowers bloom June-August and grow to a maximum height of 3 feet.
