Description

Lobelia inflata, otherwise known as Indian Tobacco, is a Michigan and UP native annual or biannual that readily self-seeds. Annual wildflower with pale purplish-blue bell-like flowers. Typically blooms from July through October. Contains toxins that are poisonous to humans and animals in large quantities and no parts of the plants should be ingested. Grows 6 to 30 inches tall. Prefers partial sun and moist to dry conditions. A quart will include 1 individual plant.
